When we met the relatives of our grandfather Fridthjof Olaf Twedt's mother, Lovisa Hansen (Truleson) (now having names Sleire and Riisnes based on the location of the Truleson home in Masjforden), Oddmund Sleire handed me a collection of papers showing the birth/baptism locations and churches of the Tvedt family and also the residence addresses of the family at the time of the birth of each child. We took some time to go around and find each of them and the churches as well. It is our feeling that by making the trek about the Bergen town, we got a chance to see and feel the way the town is put together and relates to the churches. The houses are still all there, although one street name has been changed.
The churches in Bergen attended by the Gottskalch Martin Hansen Tvedt (1818-1875) and Fridthjof Olaf Tvedt (1854-~1900) families were as follows, based on the birth/baptism records Oddmund had printed out.

Stenkjaeldergaden 8b (now transliterated as Steinkjellergate 8b)
(The documents actually show the addresses in a code that requires a lookup to find the name. Thanks to Oddmund for doing the work on this. I verified the Landaassmuget address because it no longer exists under that name. In fact, nobody knew where it was. I saw it by accident on a historical wall map posted at city hall.)
I tried to mark up my photo of that map, but it is not clear. Here are clips of the addresses from the above map (which are very difficult to find unless you know what you are looking for. (The alley Bredenbecksmuget is too small to find.)
